Hello friends. Welcome to my website Honest Aquarist. I’m Sharmin Sultana.

I don’t have many things to say about myself. I’m just a simple working woman, mother of a cute little boy named Ayaz, and someone who has a tremendous amount of passion for fishkeeping.

I started fishkeeping back in 2015 when I didn’t have much to do at home. But at that time, I faced many difficulties in maintaining my fishes because I had almost zero knowledge about fishkeeping.

After that, I realized I had to learn how to do it the right way. So I started reading books, newspaper articles, and blog posts about aquascaping and fishkeeping.

You wouldn’t believe how many videos and tutorials I have watched so that I could create a healthy environment for my fishes.

Of course, that information was very helpful, but even after trying things according to that knowledge, things didn’t always go right. Sometimes, I had to learn things by trial and error.

After countless trials and errors, I finally learned the art of aquascaping and fishkeeping.

That’s why I created this website, so you don’t have to go through those mistakes.

On this website, I will share all the information I have learned over the years. If any of my words can help any one of you, my motive for creating this website will be successful.
